What's new
Dr Kelly regularly attends courses and conferences to keep up to date with the latest information in the ENT field and to learn new techniques.
Most recently she has developed expertise in removing stones from the submandibular duct and parotid duct using endoscopes. This new technology allows some stones to be removed with a simple day procedure, avoiding the need for surgical removal of the whole gland. This treatment is currently only available at two hospitals in Queensland.
Bone anchored hearing aids are another recent development. Some patients can obtain superior hearing aid results with an aid that is attached to a magnet implanted under the skin behind the ear.

Tongue base reduction surgery is the latest in a wide range of surgical techniques to be considered in the management of snoring and sleep apnoea. Dr Kelly is pleased to be able to offer this service.
